*We need to get them out of here as soon as possible.*

*What? Oh Zombie has been ever so strangely estranged from his brain. Heavens to Megatroid, This is both cruel and unusual.*

**Mega Gold**

*Is there any sign of Mandrill?*

**Doc Gibbons**

*No. I don't see him anywhere. You?*

**Mega Gold**

*Nothing here, but the transponder indicated he was here.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*We need to find him.*

**Veil**

*Who...me?*

**Mega Gold**

*Doc. Look out. Materializing right above you. It's Veil.*

**Veil**

*Why hello, Avila Pires. Oh, is it Mega Gold now? Hello Abbott.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*Hey.*

*What you have done will not stand. We will not allow you to hold the Megas any longer or use their powers for whatever your nefarious purposes may be.*

**Veil**

*You and what army, Gibbons. It would appear to me that any of the reinforcements you would require are conveniently incapacitated here in this facility.*

**Mega Gold**

*Enough of this. Where's Mandrill? What have you done to him?*

**Veil**

*What have I done to him? Why, nothing at all. It was he who did all the doing.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*What are you saying monster?*

**Veil**

*I am Mandrill.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*You...are Mandrill? That's impossible.*

**Veil**

*Didn't you learn anything in my classes Abbott? Nothing is impossible, especially when we can use magic in summoning to bend and shape our perceived realities and to whatever we desire.*

*But I don't expect you to understand. You never understood anything you couldn't back up with calculations or formulas. My love for Esme pushed me to the edge. She was dying Doc. I was helpless. So I made a choice.*

*A shell? I found something far beyond what any of you can imagine. Through the original veil. I didn't just seek a cure. I found immortality. I saved Esme and myself in the process. We found a life eternal. A love that even death couldn't touch.*

*Through my research into the arcane I discovered a life force without exploration. Unlike all the other life forms in our world, one that came from the metaverse. A realm that is forever.*

**Veil**

*Like any living form, magical or material, sustenance and energy is required to survive.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*You are fooling yourself Mandrill. This isn't life. It's a nightmare. You sacrificed everything for what? To not only feed but to become a metaversal succubus?*

**Veil**

*Sacrifices must be made for greatness, Doc, and now you'll pay for standing in my way. I have been slowly absorbing the power from these megas. The mutations you've all experienced have bestowed you with incredible gifts.*

*While this form had once had to imbibe a Koda a week, one Mega will last for years. You cannot have them back. No. In fact, I think it's best you two join them.*

**Mega Gold and Doc Gibbons**

*Never!*

**Veil**

*I'm afraid you don't have a choice. What's also great about the Mega Mutants is not only do I absorb their energy, but I also assimilate their power.*

**Mega Gold**

*Doc! Watch out! He's turning blue like electric*

**Doc Gibbons**

*Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!*

**Mega Gold**

*Doc. Now Veils turning purple.*

**Veil**

*I've had enough of your feedback. Here's some of mine.*

**Mega Gold**

*Uggggh no.*

*Doc, Doc, are you okay? Yes. We need to fight back.*

**Doc Gibbons**

*Yes. I had hoped it wouldn't come to this.*

*AZUL! NOW!*

**Veil**

*What, a Mega Koda? Not their magic. You fools!*

**Doc Gibbons**

*Yes. Azul, that's perfect, exactly as we planned.* 

*Bring us away from here.* 

*Mega Gold, stay here and liberate the Megas, then join us.* 

*Azul and I will hold off Veil as long as we can, but we will need all of your combined strengths to defeat him.*

*I'm not sure how long we'll be able to hold him ourselves.*
