As hinted by being a maze for a lab rat, the grid is filled with many forms of cheese that change direction throughout the grid to make the walls of the maze.

Highlighting the continuous path through the maze and the paths that are dead ends, the dead end paths reveal a message when read left to right.

TO DECODE THE LETTERS IN THE FINAL MAZE PATH, READ EVERY THIRD LETTER THEN REPEAT
